ESERV, A PEROT SYSTEMS COMPANY RAISES $32,000 FOR JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT (JA) THROUGH THE 5TH ANNUAL “ESERV EPRIX”.

Peoria, IL, October 1, 2008, - eServ, a product engineering services provider headquartered in Peoria, raised $32,000 for Junior Achievement through its eServ ePrix, Go-Kart Race.

The September 26th event sold out for the third year in a row, with 216 drivers in the field. Andy Berberich was the champion, with Alexis Khazzam of Junction Ventures finishing second, and Greg Sauder in third.

“Over 100 of our employees volunteered to handle the logistics of this event,” said eServ’s Jill Donahue, “and there were about 30 corporate sponsors as well. eServ values entrepreneurship, and that is what Junior Achievement inspires in our youth, which is why eServ values JA.”

Proceeds from the event will be used to bring the JA classroom experience to over 500 classrooms and 12,500 students in central Illinois.
