Ply Creation Process

  • Verify the accuracy of the 3D Model for the tooled surface
  • Design the plies using FiberSim™
  • Export .dxf flat pattern
  • Clean up plies using AutoCAD®
  • Send flat patterns to customer
  • Nest flat patterns for optimum material usage (optional)
  • Create cut table file (optional)
  • Create ply book (optional)
  • Witness layup on-site and optimize flat patterns (optional)
