How it all began…
eServ, a Perot Systems Company began as an engineering company focused on computer aided design and evolved into a forward-thinking, full-service product engineering firm that has changed the way engineering services are offered in the U.S., through their ValueSourcingTM business model.
In 1999, James, Scott and Tim started eServ Engineering and eServ Solutions Group. Realizing their new company had the potential to grow quickly, they rented 3,500 square feet of space in Peoria. In three years, the company grew from five people and about $500,000 in revenues into a $26 million operation with 140 employees and offices in Peoria and Rock Island, Illinois; Des Moines, Iowa; and Williamsburg, Virginia.
In 2003, Tim Baldwin and the eServ Solutions Group split off from the engineering division to focus on their technology solutions business in eastern Iowa and down-state Illinois.
Today, the product engineering services company, eServ, is approaching 60,000 square feet of space with over 500 employees, $43 million in revenue, and has customers worldwide.
The success of eServ can be directly attributed to the founders’ passion for engineering and their dedication to partnership with their clients. They instill in all of their employees their overriding goal of providing the highest quality engineering services at the most cost-effective price.
