Requirements:
Dell Inc. is a worldwide provider of information technology solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for an Recruiter Specialist to join our team in Peoria, IL. This is a contractor position with the possibility of future direct hire.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Individual will provide full cycle recruiting services to our growing Dell Services engineering Solutions operations team.
  • Have the opportunity to utilize sourcing expertise via networking, cold calling, referrals, and the Internet tools, as well as other creative methods for attracting a variety of engineering skill sets.
  • Opportunity encompasses all stages of the recruiting process; from partnering with Hiring Managers on definition of resource needs and strategy to targeting, assessing, recruiting, negotiating, and closing top candidates.
  • Designing and delivering effective recruiting strategies and best practices to source, attract, screen, recruit, and select quality candidates for key positions across the Dell Services engineering Solutions Team.
  • Responsibility for ensuring that Dell Talent Acquisition and Corporate policies are followed and required documentation is completed.

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years experience in a formal Recruiting role to include responsibilities for sourcing, interviewing/qualifying candidates, and negotiating/closing offers.
  • Previous experience recruiting professional engineering profiles such as Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, and Aerospace Engineers and Designers.
  • Skilled at developing and implementing creative recruiting solutions that have solved challenging recruiting profiles.
  • Ability to understand and articulate a hiring leader's resource requirements, culture and other compatibility issues that are critical to making a successful hire.
  • Thorough knowledge of the entire recruiting life cycle coupled with high candidate presentation to offer acceptance ratios.
  • Strong communication, organizational, evaluation, and negotiation skills combined with a penchant for details.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet Search Tools, and experience utilizing common PC software such as MS Outlook.
  • Ability to influence and build credibility and confidence at all levels.

Desired Skills:

  • Previous Recruiting experience working for a Contract House is a plus

Minimum Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Equivalent Work Experience.

Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:

  • CIR a plus.
